M.A. Savino's Reap What You Sow plunges straight into the deep end with a narrative that grabbed my attention from the very first scene. It is an intense, heavy story that tackles the grim reality of trying to overcome a drug addiction. This is not a standard thriller, more like a gritty, fast-paced emotional descent into desperation.
Even though it doesn't fit into the thriller box, I still found it to be a fantastic read. The momentum never stalls, pulling you through the dark subject matter at a relentless speed. It is a tough topic to digest, but the execution makes it hard to put down. If you like gritty realism and intense character studies, then you will enjoy this book.
